NATO has significantly bolstered its strategic airlift capabilities with the acquisition of two additional Airbus A330 Multi-Role Tanker Transport (MRTT) aircraft. These new platforms, slated for delivery in 2028 and 2029, will expand the alliance’s crucial refueling and cargo fleet to a total of 12 formidable aircraft.
